Waddesdon Manor
The Accessibility team at the French Renaissance-style chateau Waddesdon Manor, Buckinghamshire, have made use of some of our services to create access for Deaf people to the Rothschild impressive art collections.
Take a look at what they have achieved with the help of Heritage Interpreters:

Marketing and Media
We have produced a short British Sign Language Video advert to market the Deaf-led tours at Waddesdon Manor. We are also, at present, working with the team to create media that will allow British Sign Language users to be able to explore the Manor and its collection with the Bloomberg Connects app.
Deaf Awareness Courses
The team at Waddesdon Manor have invited us on a number of occasions to be a part of their in-house staff training for accessibility. We have taught hundreds of their volunteers and staff basic sign language bespoke to their roles within the Manor house. They have really benefited from these short, interactive courses.

Deaf-Led Tours
Deaf-led Tours have been a regular part of the program of events at Waddesdon Manor over the past two years and will continue to run through 2026.
