Our Services
We work along with you to make your historical locations, events and tours accessible for Deaf people. We have built up considerable knowledge over the years, we are happy to pass on some of this knowledge via the services we offer. Our services help to connect the dots between Heritage organizations and Deaf people, giving you the chance to share the rich history of your property with them!
Deaf Awareness Course
We offer bespoke, in-house training for your front-of-house staff. They will learn about the communication needs of their Deaf visitors, and some basic Sign Language specifically linked to their job role.
Our course is fun and interactive and will equip your staff to have the confidence to welcome Deaf people to your property.
BSL Interpreted Tours
We provide qualified British Sign Language Interpreters to interpret tours and events. We work along with you in organizing the event/tour and promote it to the Deaf community.
Deaf-led Guided Tours
We introduce you to a local Deaf guide who will deliver a Deaf led *British Sign Language tour for your Deaf visitors. We work along with you to organize the training of the guide for a specific tour. We then promote this event/tour to the Deaf community.
*American Sign Language tours can also be organized in certian cases.
Marketing
We will film, edit and produce short videos in British Sign Language to advertise your tours and events. We then post onto a social media platform that is accessed by Deaf people. We also exhibit your videos at Deaf Day, an annual event hosted by City Lit, the Center of Deaf Education based in Central London.
